A digital storytelling platform, wearemaersk.com, creates a personal, dynamic and customized universe that supports Maersk's corporate website and showcases the recently launched 'We are Maersk' movie.
Users navigate around the site on a world map highlighting Maersk’s presence and activities around the globe. 11 sequential movies, each featuring additional background articles and geographical information, tell the Maersk story.
Bite-sized contextual information shows what Maersk means to all of us, wherever we are in the world. IP-detection connects people, using information like local weather, country and population, to Maersk.
The site “We are Maersk” was produced in Flash, still a supported platform at the time, over the course of 5 weeks.
