When the 400 meter container vessel was introduced, before construction began, we were asked to create marketing materials to support the launch of this gigantic vessel. We communicated the new standards in size, sustainability, efficiency and innovation of the groundbreaking Triple-E ship and took the audience on a journey through the story behind the creation of the vessel.
We built a website where we could communicate complex messages in a clear and easily digestible way. A parallex scrolling experience with stories, films, music and interactive elements.
We created communication and graphic materials for PR, events, Maersk websites and social media.
The website www.worldlargestship.com and the communication assets were launched to coincide with a Global PR event on February 21st 2011, where the ship was introduced to the industry and the public.
After the introduction the website was expanded over the years with new stories, timelapse footage and other communication assets, until the launch of the very first vessel.
